Some children sit perfectly still and are done in fifteen minutes. Some need three breaks, a go on somebody’s phone and a fair amount of negotiation. Both are normal and neither bothers us.
Book Gerald or Gabi if you can. They are the two whose names keep coming up from parents, including for children who are nervous about the whole business or who have never sat in a barber’s chair before.
What helps: come earlier in the day rather than late afternoon, and book rather than walk in so you are not waiting around. Tell us on the way in if it is a first haircut — we will take it slower and you will want the photo.
If you are getting your own cut at the same time, book both slots back to back and we will do the kids first.

What age is a kids' cut for?
Children's pricing is for under-twelves. Older than that and it is the standard haircut price, or the student rate if they are in full-time education with an ID.
Should I book or walk in with a child?
Book if you can. Waiting around is the part children find hardest, and a booked slot means you sit straight down.
Is it alright if it is their first haircut?
Absolutely. Tell us when you arrive and we will take our time with it.
