Scissors, clippers, or both. The ordinary haircut done properly, which turns out to be the hardest thing to find.
Most of our customers are not after anything dramatic. They want the same cut they had last time, finished the same way, without having to explain it again from scratch. That is most of what we do and we take it seriously.
First visit we will talk it through properly — how you wear it, how much time you actually spend on it in the morning, whether you want it to grow out well or look its best on day one. After that it is in your barber’s head and you can sit down and say nothing at all.
Thirty minutes, washed and styled. If you have not got a regular barber in Nottingham yet, book with whoever has the slot and stick with whoever you get on with.

Before you book
How much is a men's haircut in Nottingham at Evoke?
£25, or £20 for students Tuesday to Thursday with a valid student ID. A haircut with a beard trim is £38.
Do you wash my hair?
Yes. The wash and the finish are included in the price, not charged as extras.
Can I book the same barber each time?
Yes, and most people do. You can book Jack, Gerald, Gabi or Daniel by name online.
Do I need an appointment?
No, but it helps. We take walk-ins whenever a chair is free.
